The Vice-Dean for Development and Foreign Affairs coordinates and develops the programmes for international cooperation, and prepares, in cooperation with the Foreign Affairs Office, draft agreements on international cooperation. He coordinates and manages scholarships abroad and international study programs such as ERASMUS + and the related internationalization of studies.
He also participates in the preparation of the annual report of the Faculty of Science and the annual report of University of South Bohemia (USB) and coordinates the activities of the project office, consisting the organizational support for grant and project activities of scientific and teaching staff of the Faculty of Science.

The Vice-Dean for Development and Foreign Affairs also holds the position of Faculty Quality Coordinator for the Faculty of Science, USB. The Faculty Quality Coordinator coordinates and manages the activities of the Council of Study Programs at the faculty, facilitates contacts with other faculties and with the JU Internal Evaluation Board, and with the USB Scientific Board and the Scientific Councils of faculties in order to coordinate quality assurance and evaluation processes.
